Participating in S3DA has been an amazing experience for the whole family. The coaches are dedicated and knowledgeable, as are all the parent volunteers and board members. My child has not only improved their skills, but has also gained confidence and made lasting friendships.

Frequently Asked Questions

Here are some commonly asked questions. If you don’t get an answer here, simply reach out to us, we’re happy to help!

How much is this all going to cost?

Aside from the cost of equipment and joining a participating S3DA club, you must also join the national S3DA program. Currently this costs $30 per year. Events can range from $20 to $50 per event, depending on the type (regional, state, national).

Do I need to have my own equipment?

Although S3DA is open to youth archers of all skill levels, we do not provide equipment and archers must have their own to participate. S3DA welcomes bare bow, Olympic recurve, and compound shooters.

Do I have to participate in every event?

To secure your booking, we request a 50% down payment with the remaining 50% to be paid 24 hours prior to your event.

What if my local club is not participating?

Reach out! If your club is interested in starting an S3DA program, we would love to help you get things going. An S3DA team can be affiliated with archery shops, ranges, churches, schools, etc..

I’m ready to sign up! What now?

If you are already a member of a participating club, you can sign up on Sport80 to get started. Getting set up can tricky, so if you need assistance, feel free to contact your local club, or email us here.
